The Lights of Rosslare harbour

The Lights of Rosslare harbour are fading from my view
A lone on board the ferry as I sail away from you
The dreams and plans we cherished as we shared these last few years
Their showily been extenuated they run my face in tears

This heart of mine it’s breaking – it’s pounding in my breast
Still everybody tells me sure you know it’s for the best
But today I lose my best friends as I leave you both behind
Both you my love and Ireland will be always on my mind

The Lights of Rosslare harbour are fading from my view
A lone on board the ferry as I sail away from you
The dreams and plans we cherished as we shared these last few years
Their showily been extenuated they run my face in tears

I’m sitting my the window as the ship sails out to sea
The flashing lights of Tusker their my only company
And for a few brief moments as we sharer our last fair well
Who knows how long it will be till I see her lights again

The Lights of Rosslare harbour are fading from my view
A lone on board the ferry as I sail away from you
The dreams and plans we cherished as we shared these last few years
Their showily been extenuated they run my face in tears
Their showily been extenuated they run my face in tears

I was pleased to find the worlds to the Lights of Rosslare Harbour because I have been looking for it for a while! I am not sure I believe the words on the first line are correct though!
Can you advise who wrote this or recorded it?
Thanks

Does anyone know the name of the girl who recorded this song a few years ago? I thought it might have been Annmarie O'Riordan but it's not mentioned on her website. Thanks. :)
