Set Dancing Final
Saturday November 17, 2007
Friday night at Sand Krog & Café in Trollhättan marked the final of our set dancing class. The set dancers have been meeting for six thursdays in Vänersborg under the guidance of instructor Clement McKay. Clement, originally from Belfast now living in Gothenburg, has indeed made a good job, with some of the dancers having no previous experience of Irish dance.

Dance music on the night was provided by members of King Laoghaire with Hans Grimhammar on percussion. Between sets the band also sang a few songs.

Clement McKay was presented with flowers for a job well done. And many dancers expressed their delight at the possibility of a new class starting in the new year, but this time on tuesdays. All in all, it's fair to say that everyone had a night of fun!
